Homemade Belgian Waffles
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 large eggs seperated
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron, spray with nonstick spray
- Whisk together flour, baking power, sugar, salt, and cinnamon
- Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form
- In a seperate bowl, mix together yolks, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla
- Add egg yolk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well
- Fold in the egg whites
- Cook the batter in the waffle iron
